This boat was designed from the keel up to be a general improvement over the original design concept with a modified fin keel and full skeg hung rudder and a more efficient sail plan and she sails to windward much better than her predecessors. The redesigned interior made better use of the space available and features such things as a true u shaped galley instead of the L shaped one on previous models and also has a separate shower stall in the aft head. The owners of Panasea have been using her seasonally n the Caribbean and have hauled her out for summers, so her bottom appears to be free of any osmosis making her much more desirable than many of her sisterships in the southeast United States that have sent most or all of their lives in the water. Panasea does need to have her cove line and boot top stripes repainted as they are faded and she would benefit for a general scrub up and compounding and waxing, but appears to be in good overall condition and is ready to sail with only a normal re-commissioning necessary.
