ACCOMMODATIONS:

Sleeps five in a V-berth, pilot berth, amidship quarter berth and convertible settee.


WALKTHROUGH:

Starting forward is a large V-berth and bulkhead with a door to the storage locker. There is a large overhead hatch, teak shelf along the port side and drawer storage underneath the berth. On the starboard side is a built in dresser/vanity with drawers and door storage, a hanging locker, overhead storage compartment, overhead opening port, fan, lights and a solid teak door into the companionway.


To the portside of the companionway, aft of the V-berth, is the entrance into the head which is molded fiberglass with teak trim. There is a molded one piece counter with sink and storage below, manual flush head, fluorescent light, teak trimmed mirror, 12 volt fan and opening port. There is fiberglass storage with laminated glass shelves and sliding doors above and behind the toilet. The walk in shower has a built in seat, chrome faucet and shower head. The back of the head entrance door has a full length mirror.

Opposite the head on the starboard side is a hanging locker, built in end table with drawers and storage below; cabinet with shelves, built in stereo speaker, a 12 volt fan and an opening port.


The main salon has an L-shaped settee to port with cabinets, a bookshelf and storage above and behind the settee; teak dining table with fold down leaves and bottle storage in base. The L-shaped settee converts to a double berth. The starboard side settee has a pilot berth with storage behind. Next is a Formica counter with a large teak-door storage cabinet above and below with a fixed port. The main salon has a large overhead hatch, three opening ports, four lights and two fans.

The nav desk located starboard aft of salon includes chart plotting table which opens for charts and supplies and storage below. Over chart table is the electronics, radios and electrical panel.

Starboard aft of the nav desk is a quarter berth with battery access underneath, a storage shelf and opening panel for engine access.

The galley is port aft of the salon with Corian and Formica counters, teak storage cabinets, Force 10 two burner gimbaled propane stove with oven/broiler (never used) and a Technautics Coastal 12 volt holding-plate freezer/refrigerator. There is a double bowl stainless steel sink with single lever chrome faucet. There is an electric water pump with a spare included, stainless steel safety bar and attachments for galley belt. An aluminum propane tank is in a lazarette aft of the cockpit.

The Yanmar diesel engine is located behind the steps. Moving up steps into the cockpit, there is port and starboard seating with the main sheet traveler in front of the helm. The helm has a stainless steel wheel with pedestal mounted compass, two three-speed Lewmar 55 winches port and starboard and a two-speed Lewmar 43 winch behind the larger Lewmars. The cockpit is teak trimmed with stainless steel framed bimini forward covering the entry hatch and a second stainless steel framed bimini over the helm. On the forward bulkhead are the sailing instruments (wind, depth and speed). Below a large helm seat there is steering quadrant, rudder shaft packing gland, emergency tiller, manual bilge pump and storage. Aft of helm seat is a large lazarette that provides vented propane locker and aluminum tank on starboard shelf.

The stainless steel rails have an outboard engine mount, pole holder and stainless steel davit mounts. Moving forward up the deck is a varnished wooden toe rail and hand rails along the top of the cabin covered in dark blue canvas.

The standing rigging is in good condition and has a 15 foot whisker pole on the front of the mast and the running rigging is in good condition. There is a forward rope locker with two access doors, stainless steel bow sprit with anchor roller, 35# Bruce with 20 feet of stainless steel chain and 200 feet of 5/8 inch rode, a 20# Danforth backup anchor, and a Harkin roller furling for the Genoa. The stainless steel bow rails turn into life lines going aft on both port and starboard.

BROKER’S COMMENTS:

A true sailing performance vessel designed by Ted Brewer of the original Morgan team. This is a two-owner boat, lightly used and lightly equipped. Owner is transitioning from sail to trawler. Interior cushions are being replaced now with new foam and Sapphire Blue Sunbrella fabric. All outside teak is freshly varnished. The interior will be varnished and bottom printed in June 2006. Davits are in storage, like new, and will be furnished upon request.
